    Positive Outlook

    I have been working at B S & B Safety Systems full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Very stable, many opportunities for advancement up and lateral, reciprocal loyalty, growth and customer focused, recognized and respected industry name,

    Cons

Decisions often made by committee, not a lot of camaraderie between departments, need more appeal to the younger generation of employee

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what works, quit doing what has been shown not to work

    Application

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at B S & B Safety Systems.

    Interview

    1) Interview with recruiter to express and assess my interest in the position (positive experience)
    2) Skype interview with HR (positive experience)
    3) Skype interview with Operations Manager (positive experience)
    4) Phone interview with former Sales Manager (positive experience)
    5) Psychological assessment (neutral experience)
    6) Skype/phone interview with Business Unit Director (very negative experience)

    Interview Questions

    • I was asked several very personal questions about my family, my wife, my religion, my beliefs, that have little or nothing to do with the job. It was a completely one-sided interview and I was made to feel like I was a criminal on trial and a liar trying to justify my existence. Very combative and psychologically manipulative. By the time it was my turn to ask them questions, I was left with only about five minutes. I really did not have much to say because I was too shocked and trying to pick my jaw up from the floor. I finished the interview with a bad gut feeling to run as far as I could possibly run from this company.   Answer Question
