A solid local company to work for, with very horizontal structure at the store level. A great place to start off, but plan to look for advancement elsewhere.
Pay is still lower than market average even after company-wide raises. Hours have been cut to help absorb higher labor costs, making the raises something of a wash.
Advice to Management
There's not less work to do just because you're giving people less time to do it in. Hour cuts mean corner cuts.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at B&R Stores (Lincoln, NE) in June 2015.
They have no idea what they want in people & the interview process shows. I was contacted by two different people who didn't appear to be in communication. When I showed up for the interview they acted like they didn't know that I was coming.
