Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BIGO (Singapore) (United States) in Apr 2022
InterviewRecruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn. Process took about 3 weeks since I asked to expedite process. But seems it can range bwtween 3-4 weeks. Interviews were 1 phone screening, 4 interviews (team manager, team VP, regional director, next vp higher)

...The new management is a bigger detriment to the company than the previous management, moderators are given expectations that are downright ridiculous (massive KPI with no tolerances for mistakes), lacking benefits (4 days annual leave only), the new management forces employees they don't like to resign rather than fire them outright, hardly anyone in the company speaks professional English, rulebooks and whitelists are written in direct translations from Mandarin that is difficult to understand, mistakes from individuals directly impact every team's score (no individual accountability), too many frequent changes to the rulebooks and whitelists that greatly impacts confidence resulting in loss of KPI and accuracy...
