Good management and incentives for employees. Easy to manage your hours and schedule online. You're allowed to swap and change shifts easily.
The pay is minimum wage, so you basically have to rely on your tips to pay the bills. A bit difficult to move up to bar tending, as the wait list is long.
Advice to Management
Keep up the incentives - they make servers work harder. Maybe make training more rewarding that way servers will be more keen to do so.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at BJ's Restaurants.
Easy. Typical questions. Sit down in restaurant with general manager. Less than an hour. If you aren't a dummy, you'll probably get the job. I did wait over an hour to talk to someone though.
