    Marketing Interview

    Anonymous Employee in United States
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

The interviewer scheduled time with me to interview for the position but as per usual with HR, she left little time to actually have a conversation. She felt very rushed and not very interested. If that’s the case, why interview me? Very unprofessional in her tone, very obvious she was young and inexperienced in interviewing. When I say that she is unprofessional in her tone, what I mean is, she was clearly just trying to run through her questions as fast as possible to stay right on time for her 28 minute window and her vernacular was juvenile. She didn’t ask much about what I knew in terms of the company. She was more interested in being critical of my background (didn’t you ask me for an interview?). If they treat candidates poorly, they will likely treat employees poorly.
Also, a word to HR, when you tell someone you’ll get back to them, just be professional and send an email - not one that is a robo email please. We are candidates and go through this regularly. Why not be different and actually keep your word? Just a thought.

Her questions were very accusatory instead of inquisitive. Just review the website for 5 minutes, you’ll be fine.
