As the title states, the company and the employees from Senior Management to new associates have a great work culture. Everyone on my team is extremely friendly, highly accomplished, and hard working. The company has a lot of team building and social opportunities outside of work with little to no cost to employees. Outstanding benefits including education assistance and full medical, dental, vision coverage. Training is available in nearly every field in business, which is a big plus. As a recent college grad, I couldn't have found a better place to start a career. There are many opportunities for advancement for recent grads and experienced professionals as well.

I can only speak from my experience but it did take a considerable amount of time (7 months from interview to hire date) to start working. When you contract with the federal government, onboarding can take a long time.

    Advice to Management

Outline the responsibilities of the new employee on the first day, especially if it took a long time to onboard the employee. Continue with the QAHMs, community service opportunities, and social events.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at BRMi (Washington, DC) in December 2010.

Be prepared. Your interview may consist of a telephone interview 1st followed by an in-person that is a round-robin among subject matter experts ... or ... it may be an interview and a direct hire. There's an attempt at a process, but sometimes the speed of need may get in the way. You may have a very technical interviewer ... or one that is not so technical or knowledgeable. What's important to them is the VIBE and FEEL with the interviewer ... and not the specific technical aptitude. Can they tell the resource what to do and s/he will do it. Do they have basic to medium experience that can be worked with? Can they work on a team... really? This is important.

Countered 2x; They did not offer what I wanted but the lowest I would accept.
