“I received my Masters of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UW- Madison in 2002. Shortly after, I joined the BRP team in the Product Development Center as an Engineer on the simulation team. I love what I do and where I work. At BRP, we stress innovation - thinking about solutions that are are 'outside the box'. There is never a dull moment. I am responsible for a variety of deliverables; I am involved with the engine and its components from the concept stage to full production. What I enjoy most about my role is the opportunity to work hands-on with the engines, parts, fabrication and data acquisition process as well as the theory, design and testing of the product. I applied online. The process took 6+ months. I interviewed at BRP (Racine, WI).
Phone screening interview went well. Very professional.
Walked into the 1st interview and could feel the hostility; arms crossed, leaning back, glaring at me. He seemed peeved that he had to be there. This position is almost bullet point by bullet point my last position in a similar company with similar structure. Should have been a slam dunk.
