I have been working at Baby's Dream Furniture full-time (More than 3 years)
If you gain the trust of upper management, your work here won't be as difficult. The casual environment was also a plus.
There are quite a bit of cons. Insurance is not the best and could be a lot better. No 401k plan either. Expect a lot of contradiction and to always be wrong (even if you're right and can prove it). Upper management expect a lot for little pay and you cannot expect to be paid anywhere near the average salary for the same job in the area. Moreover, your work will be one of many. If you work in one department, expect to do things in other departments. When someone quits, they will not hire anyone to replace that employee. Instead, they will split the work amongst the employees working there already. This puts a lot more stress on your end, as if you didn't have enough to do as is. If you show them that you are good at what you do and can get it done efficiently and quickly, expect for them to give you more work. No opportunity for growth, much less a raise.
Overall, I haven't enjoyed my work here but the company can be ok if you're looking for a quick income. Don't let this job be the one that defines your life because you won't like it.
