Small company. Able to make decisions quickly to increase sales. No micro management.
Favoritism by owner that extends to employees inside/outside of work. Favoritism by management by hiring of friends.
Advice to Management
Separate work friendships from personal friendships, during work hours. Refrain management from hiring friends. There are very talented employees that get looked over for promotions because they are not in the cliques. The best man/woman should get the promotion, not a friend. Stop the favoritism that is blatantly apparent to all other employees as it shows a lack of professionalism. Promote professional working environment.

I received an email from an acquaintance about an opening.So I checked out the company on line and submitted my resume. Not long after I received a phone call to come in for an interview. I interviewed with management, took a walk through the warehouse and was told they would call me. The whole interview process took just over an hour.
If I had to do it over again I would have stuck with my initial salary expectation based on my experience.
