I worked at Baja Fresh full-time (More than 10 years)
They give a lot of hours, you get to learn a fast paced job and basically learn how to do everythinf on your own.
The management there at Baja unfortunately is horrible. There is never a schedule. The owners have a hard time getting their employees in everyday because they simply are out of hand and dont know how to run a restaurant.
Advice to Management
Stop focusing on the looks of the restaurant and focus on areas where you can imprive the restaurant and nit fail a heakth inspection.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Baja Fresh (Los Angeles, CA) in August 2015.
Very easygoing interview. All staff are very polite. Takes only about 15 minutes for manager to make a decision. You will be asked a few quick questions, nothing to detailed.
