I have been working at Baker Hill full-time (Less than a year)
This is a very fast-paced and growing environment with lots of opportunity for those who want it. I came here because of the opportunity to create, grow, and be part of something special. Baker Hill has not failed to deliver that and more. The people have an entrepreneurial spirit and can do attitude. I truly enjoy coming to work every day and feel I have grown personally and professionally.
Because it is such a fast-paced environment you have to be a self-starter, if not you will not fit the culture.
Advice to Management
Continue to grow your employees as the great people they are and communicate the goals and vision of the Company to everyone consistently so they can see the bigger picture with you. Continue to innovate for the future. With the exception of HR, senior leadership needs to be more visible and accessible, talk to your employees more, listen more to their views, and involve them more in the decision making process. The key is developing people; you do that by building up people and holding them accountable.
I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Baker Hill in December 2012.
Applications are first processed by the home office so the importance of keywords in your resume is very important. Once selected, I was contacted for two phone interviews and then began onsite interviews. The onsite interviews took place with managment and sr. co-workers. Everyone is very professional and friendly.
A friendly and open tone were all that were required.
