I have been working at Ball Corporation full-time (Less than a year)
Outside of a fair and competitive wage it is definitely the people. Everyone from the top of the management teams to the ones that clean the break room treat each person with dignity and respect and make it a point to meet each new employee with a smile and a firm hand shake.
Haven't really been there long enough to label what I would foresee as a con. It seems like the training program may be a bit expedited but they more than doubled the facility size where I am at and need able and skilled bodies to produce the materials and parts.
Advice to Management
Continue to treat your work force as you have me and the wheat will separate from the chaff. No complaints.
I applied in-person. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Ball Corporation (Canton, OH) in May 2017.
Two interviews. First was the situational type questions. The second was a tour. The questions were the what would you in this type of situation, tell me of a time when you had to improvise for time and production numbers, that type of stuff.
