I worked at Bally Total Fitness full-time (More than 10 years)
Friendly people, good work environment, able to move up in the company. Was able to travel up and down the west cost doing construction and remodels to the company facilities,
Tried to expand too fast and, had too much debt when club membership slowed down causing them to go int bankruptcy. I retired in 2014 before the bankruptcy took place.
Advice to Management
They needed better cost management over construction. Sometimes bigger is not always better, they were in competition with another health company that had better backing and built smaller facilities to keep their costs down.. .
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bally Total Fitness.
If you're called in for an interview, you already have the job. Their turnover rate is extremely high, and they wait until the last minute to hire someone. Come in sober, and you're hired.
