We were paid salary for working 8:30 to 3:30, one day off every other week, and every other Saturday off. The benefits were amazing! The health and dental insurance was full coverage, which almost never happens anywhere!
I think management was too lenient on people when they had gotten complaints from other employees. I am not sure if there is an actual HR department, as it is a small town bank; but it needs one. One would have to work there for a long time before being promoted. They use a seniority pay system.
Advice to Management
I think management should really implement an incentive program or a performance based pay system because there is animosity between employees; those who perform well and those who don't. I think management should pay more attention to complaints. Telling someone to 'stop' behaving in a certain way, and then watching it continue is not acceptable practice.
