I have been working at Banta Immigration Law full-time (More than a year)
This is a great place to work. People at this firm take the practice of immigration law seriously, with keen attention to detail and an ethos of leaving no stone unturned to produce the best immigration outcomes.
Salary and benefits are competitive, including ample vacation time and the opportunity for advancement of duties, bonuses, and raises as time goes on. The firm sponsors periodic outings, including recent trips to the Fox Theater and the iconic rotation restaurant on the 73rd floor of the Westin Peachtree Plaza. Attorneys also receive funding to attend professional development and networking events, including the AILA Annual Conference.
The work can be challenging, and there are some late nights, although nothing out of the ordinary. Other reviews on this site, posted in 2013, describe an oppressive environment. While I cannot speak to the environment that existed in 2013, I can say that this is not the way the firm operates today, nor has it been for the 18 months I have been with the firm.
Advice to Management
Management is open-minded, encouraging employees to take ownership of initiatives to continuously improve the firm's work environment and procedures.
