I have been working at Barilla full-time

    Pros

Good working conditions for a 24x7 factory. Benefits are better than most other companies no matter what they produce. Stable demand means great job security.

    Cons

24x7 factory work for most employees (12 hour shift).

    Advice to Management

    Continue listening to employees.

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Barilla (Northbrook, IL) in March 2016.

    Interview

Phone interview followed by in-person interviews at the Barilla America headquarters in Northbrook. I had three half hour long back-to-back interviews with three different Barilla marketing professionals. The interviews were fairly casual and HR did an excellent job of making me feel welcome and comfortable throughout the process. I was able to stay in contact with someone in HR who gave me updates on the status of my application.

    Interview Questions

    • Tell me about a time when you had to deliver a project on a tight budget while working with a team. Were you successful, and if so, how did you achieve success?   Answer Question
