They have a nice laid back family atmosphere. The office space is very nice and convenient to downtown. The projects are exciting . Compensation is fair and competitive especially if your upper management.
Upper management is out of touch. The turnover of employees is abnormally high and accepted as apart of the culture. It seems someone quits every week. They rarely give out raises or bonuses due to the lack of financial performance, high upper management salaries, and high overhead.
Advice to Management
Management seriously needs to look at who is running the business and bringing in the money. Quit having so many meetings on the company problems and go run a business like it should be. Strive for low overhead and high customer satisfaction. Unfortunately that would mean a lot of the managers and admin staff would need to leave.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Baskerville-Donovan (Panama City, FL) in May 2015.
Found position through AeroTek, got phone interview, waited about a week, invited to interview, drove 2 hrs to Panama City, FL, nice interview with current engineer and staff. Had a fair amount in common. Seemed like a pretty good fit, was notified next step would be to visit home office in Pensacola, FL for an interview. Waited about a week, notified by AeroTek that Baskerville-Donovan had some resignations, so their priorities changed, now they do not need anyone in the position. Got feedback comment from my interview that they would have liked more design experience.
