I have been working at Baxter Regional Medical Center full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good support off the nursing staff. Chief nursing officer advocates for nurses with other members of administration. Staffing ratios are reasonable.

    Cons

Very low pay. Opportunities for advancement are infrequent. Annual raises are questionable, and may come much later in the year.

    Advice to Management

Pay competitively enough to slow down turnover

    Application

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Baxter Regional Medical Center (Mountain Home, AR) in March 2017.

    Interview

Unprofessional, Human Resources shows bias hiring preferences. The group/panel interview was too long and at the end, they confess that even though I was the only participant to fully comply the requirement of the position at a 100% they knew who was going to get the job. At the end, it seemed they used me to learn more about good practices in the instructional design for online learning field.
