    Supply Chain Manager Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Bentonville, AR
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Bay Cities (Bentonville, AR).

    Interview

First interview was a typical phone screening. Was contacted again and asked to come in the very next day to interview in person. The face-to-face interview was with the hiring manager and a senior HR person. The HR person dominated the interview with behavioral questions and frequent assertions that this company expects its employees to work hard, work long, and not complain. I found her demeanor off-putting, and in some instances rude. (I read in someone else's review of this company's interview process that they felt they were on trial for a crime. This was the same sort of feeling I got from the place). Honestly, the only thing that stuck with me about the company after I left was that they expect you to put work above family and be "on" 24/7/365. I'm no stranger to hard work, but not at the expense of my family.

    Interview Questions

    • Typical behavioral interview questions, although they are fired at you with such intensity and your answers are so fully scrutinized that you come away feeling quite exhausted.   Answer Question
