We call this:
Our corporate culture is built on our LIFE values, which are firmly anchored in our company and provide us with guidance in our daily work. LIFE stands for Leadership, Integrity, Flexibility and Efficiency.
Everything we do is aligned with these values.
Our value culture ensures a common identity throughout the enterprise across national boundaries, management hierarchies and cultural differences.
Bayer produces and sells a variety of medicines and other products – but none of this would be possible without the great many people who work here.
That’s why it’s important that our staff are happy to remain on board, and that we continue to attract talented new hires with profiles that match Bayer’s aspirations. They also want to know what Bayer stands for – what it’s like to work here, and what we expect from our staff.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Bayer (Whippany, NJ) in December 2013.
Panel interview with 4 other members of the patent group. Casual and friendly but in-depth. Various different questions from each member of the panel. Questions were varied between legal/patent and scientific subject matter. Was given a short tour of the department and part of the site.
