relatively good benifits - promotion possibilities in certain depts.- flexible hours- good supervisors in most depts - job family fun activites - lots of casino promotional freebees and events - family hiring possibities - family atmosphere in many cases/ casino wide - sponsors communty fund-raisers and very envolved in outside community activites- large empolyer for area - in house promotional transfers usually possible - rehire possible even after job termination cooling off preiod
some dept. heads/managers/middle managers show favoritism - benifits tend to decrease rather than increase over time-as tribe gets more greedy - follow federal rather than more benevolent state wage/salary giudelines - middle management supervisors sometime discriminate in daily job evals based on friends/sex favors/ their own selfish needs
Advice to Management
listen to all employees/employee compliants- check out accusations about middle managment discrimination in favor of their "frends". Casinos have lots of cameras - use them to watch supervisors as well to see if they are unfairly evaluating certain employees while overlooking their friends when it comes to job evcaluations, promoting, rewarding, or terminations.
