    Application

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took a week. I interviewed at Beiersdorf (US) (Wilton, CT) in March 2017.

    Interview

    The interview process included several components:
    After applying I was asked to complete an online test. The test included personality trait questions, numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning, and logic puzzles. It took about an hour to complete.
    If you score well on the test then you're invited to interview. The first interview is a telephone screen with HR. It focused on whether or not I had the ability to do the job so the questions were focused around the job responsibilities. (i.e. Have you managed a budget?)
    After the phone screen I was asked to interview with the team. Due to scheduling, I have a phone interview with a Director first. It was a lovely conversation and the questions were behavioral and again focused on my ability to perform the job responsibilities.
    After this phone interview I was asked to come into the office for a half day of four interviews and a case. The interviews were three other marketers and a member of HR. Questions were behavioral and "getting to know you" type of questions. For the case I was given sales data and asked to put together a narrative from the data and also compile a list of follow up questions I would want to know.
    Overall everyone I met with was incredibly nice and the brands are well-regarded. It was a difficult offer to turn down.
