I have been working at Ben Jen Online full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Medical benefits are offered to all full time employees and we are allowed to work remotely. It's nice not having to commute in every day.

    Cons

Given that most meetings are not mandatory, there is some disorganization and confusion among lower levels of management. Employees are spread out geographically and makes it harder to have a meeting with everyone at once.

    Advice to Management

Mandate meetings between the different levels of management to ensure everything is being done as efficiently as possible

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ben Jen Online (New York, NY) in September 2014.

    Interview

A friend of mine works at the company and referred me for a Telecom Engineer position out of their NYC office. It took a few weeks before someone got back to me, but the process was long and detailed. Applying for the company required multiple background checks including the need to get fingerprinted, which I thought was excessive.

    Interview Questions

    • I wouldn't say that there were any difficult questions, but I did not expect them to put me through a simulation that tested my background knowledge and experience.   Answer Question
