Fast paced, easy to get your voice heard, can have an impact, advancement opportunity. Overall an exciting place to work. Very friendly people as well. This is for the US.
Salary can be hard to come by sometimes, so you have to be a self-starter and go out there and ask for it and state your case. Management is excellent - level headed and more than willing to listen, but they won't take the initiative on this.
Advice to Management
Be more willing to offer raises, this will help decrease turnover. As long as you know how to do it, you can get paid a fair salary, you just have to be willing to ask for it.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at BenQ (Irvine, CA) in July 2012.
Found career opportunity through LinkedIn. Submitted application and received a call from the US Channel Sales Director about a week later. Had a lengthy phone interview followed by a face to face interview a few days later. Corresponded back and forth via email with HR and Director about salary requirements and salary history. Waited a few days and received an offer letter. Accepted and here I am now.
Gave salary requirements which fell into their range. No negotiation required.
