Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at BenchSci (São Paulo, São Paulo)

    Interview

I interviewed for a senior position and experienced a long interview process, internal misalignment, and indecision. It's unfortunate since they have a dedicated and passionate team. In the end, it was a big waste of time.

Advice: if you stopped looking for perfection , perhaps you would fill critical roles more quickly. For an organization that says they are all about culture, you need to do better.
