Great crew, good managers, fun environment, great food.
Not enough hours to make good money. The staffing was high to keep customers happy and minimize gaps.
Advice to Management
Give wait staff enough hours to make good money and they will stick around longer.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Benvenutos Italian Grill (Madison, WI) in May 2009.
1. Turn in a resume to onsite manager
2. They call for an interview
3. Interviewed with onsite manager reviewing experience, education and personal presentation
4. Hired on the spot and notified the next day when my start date would be
Simple. They have a set hourly wage for all wait staff and was expected to accept it or decline. The money is in the tips.
