Mission: We maintain and expand our Marketing and Value Added Sales operations in the
field of Power and Motion Control, providing components, integrated systems and assemblies to the Industrial and ‘Off Highway’ Mobile Markets.
I worked at Berendsen Fluid Power (More than 10 years)
I spent 22 years with a well managed, progressive distribution business that used it's prominent position in their industrial sector (hydraulics and pneumatics) to leverage it's vendor base, resulting in advantageous marketing and financial results. Senior management is extremely supportive of all operational sectors, and allows broad leeway for managers to implement a fully integrated business plan. I experienced not only a successful business career with Berendsen, but also found a caring environment that was supportive of employees personal lives. I can only recommend this organization with the highest marks.
I have nothing negative to report. I know this sounds like a "loaded" response, but I have neither a personal or financial connection to the company, and the previous comments are my honest evaluation.
Advice to Management
Maintain your principled handling of all business segments: vendors, customers and employees.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Berendsen Fluid Power (Tulsa, OK) in March 2011.
The interview was pretty basic since it was for an entry level position. After arriving on location, the valet parked my car within the nearby garage downtown. I arrived at the front desk and was met by the manager. We went to her office where I was asked about my background and had a couple questions about some of the positions I've held. She described the work environment and work expectations. Then I had a couple of my own questions before the interview was done.
