Big Al's is a Premier Sports Bar and Entertainment Center that features premier accommodations and exceptional customer service. Big Al's Corporate Offices are located in Vancouver, Washington, and now boasts five locations--Vancouver, Washington; Beaverton, Oregon; Meridian, Idaho; Silicon Valley, California; and Ontario, California.
All Big Al's locations feature luxurious bowling lanes, a state-of-the-art arcade, and a stadium-style Sports Bar and Grill featuring a 55' HD BIG screen. Big Al's is a full service venue capable of entertaining groups in size that range from 12 to well over 1,000 guests.
After visiting a smoke-free bowling alley in Central Oregon — and after having a great time, of course! — real estate developers Al & Sandee Kirkwood recognized that there wasn’t necessarily a clean, safe & fun place they could take their grandkids near their hometown. Along with their son Daniel, they then traveled the US looking at family fun centers, bowling alleys, and family-friendly restaurants only to realize that their ultimate vision didn’t really exist. To that end, Big Al’s was born.
Opened in 2006, Big Al’s Vancouver (WA) was the first of its kind to bring bowling lanes, an arcade, and a sports book-style restaurant under one roof. The industry wasn’t sure what to call Big Al’s at the time, so the term “hybrid” Family Entertainment Center (FEC) was born. After four successful years, they launched their second Big Al’s in Beaverton, OR, in 2010, and their third in 2012 in Meridian, Idaho and have since built two in CA from 2017 to 2019.
As the retail landscape has changed, so too have the opportunities to continue to grow and bring family-friendly entertainment to additional markets, including the Inland Empire in Southern California where Big Al’s Ontario opened to much community and industry fanfare in 2017. And, just announced, Big Al’s will be expanding to California’s Silicon Valley with a tentative open date of October 2018.
With so much to do at Big Al’s, you can’t NOT have a great time! Grab a few friends — or make a few new ones while you’re here!
Clean & comfortable, Big Al’s is smoke-free and family-friendly. Just so you don’t have to worry.

I have been working at Big Al's full-time
Big Al's doesn't feel like a "job", it feels like home and provides a place to learn, excel, and grow - personally & professionally.
Insurance benefits could be better for Managers that need to add their family members.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Big Al's (New York, NY) in March 2015.
I went in there to apply for a delivery position but ended up getting a prep cook's job because the manager told me that there was a prep cook position available.
