I have been working at Bioo Scientific as a contractor (Less than a year)
Decent coworkers, relaxed conversation allowed, OK pay, lots of training initially.
Disorganized management, cut people quickly without notice during loss of profit, you may not always know what you should be doing and neither does your boss.
Merger with Perkin Elmer has hurt the company.
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Bioo Scientific (Austin, TX) in October 2013.
I flew from the greater New York area for the on site interview for this company. I had a full 8 hours of interview with every PhD person who worked there. It was hard to understand some of the accents and over an hour with Masoud Toloue. I practically went over my resume word by word with questions about every line. The employees seemed dissatisfied, but since I went for lunch with a bunch of them, they did not really say anything clearly enough.
I never heard back from them regarding their decision. Its been over 7 months since the interview. Its evident how much value is placed on common courtesy and professional behavior. In retrospect, I am glad I did not fall for such a company.
