Technical Account Manager
Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

Pros- The people: every person I have worked with shows respect, passion, and care for Bitly and for others. - The product: the product team and growth team are constantly experimenting and launching
ConsCan't think of any at the time, honestly.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bitly (Germany)
InterviewI applied as a localisation manager. After a few days, a talent acquisition manager contacted me and booked an interview. The interview was quite long and in-depth. At the end I was proposed to perform a translation test, which had to be completed in a few days. The test included several tasks and took me a few hours. Two weeks later I received an email saying that there are some things they need to clarify internally with some structural changes that make the company keep this process for the localisation role on hold. No feedback on my work. When I asked to be paid, since I delivered a translation, I received no reply about it. At the time of communication exchange, the position was still open on various platforms
