It’s amazing how much change has come our way over these last several weeks.  As each day passes, it becomes more likely that you know someone afflicted by COVID-19, whether that’s a friend, a neighbor, or a loved one.  Please know our hearts are with you and everyone throughout the world who has been impacted by the global pandemic. COVID-19 has changed every aspect of our lives: how we live, how we work, and how we interact with one another.  As we navigate through these uncertain, challenging times, one thing remains constant; Blackbaud's mission to empower and connect people through technology to drive impact for social good, which is especially critical during these times.

How we are empowering our employees during COVID-19

  • We began rolling out “virtual volunteerism” programs, which will augment the more than 100,000 hours our employees physically donate each year.
  • To continue to empower employees’ drive to support causes they care about, Blackbaud has increased its employee matching gift program for the second time since January, bringing the increase to 30% in 2020.
  • Providing the most accurate, up-to-date internal resources to enhance the physical, mental, and social well-being of our employees.
  • Mike Gianoni, President and CEO, will forego his paycheck in response to COVID-19, for the forseeable future.
  • All worldwide employees that have a base salary equal to or less than $75,000 USD will receive additional financial support in the form of a one-time bonus of $1,000 USD (adjusted for local currency).

Throughout all major disasters, Blackbaud is on the frontlines with its customers, supporting the social good community globally.  Our #1 focus is you and your families well being, but we are also focused on supporting our more than 45,000+ customers around the word as they contend with this pandemic. 

How we are empowering the Social Good Community

  • Blackbaud made a donation to the World Health Organization and the UN Foundation’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, in an effort to help put technology in place to fight the spread of the virus.
  • Millions are being raised for COVID-19 causes on Blackbaud's Just Giving platform!
  • Blackbaud is offering fundraising insight for healthcare organizations as they fight COVID-19, hosting weekly webinars and recently releasing a donor communication toolkit.
  • We continue to help K-12 schools across the country pivot to online learning curing the COVID-19 crisis.
  • Offering customers free, universal access to all recorded eLearning resources and granting access to more than 100 new resources for the social good community on how to aid in addressing the COVID-19 crisis.

Not enough can be said to fully recognize the work our employees and social good customers have been doing during these unpreceded times.  We will continue to prioritize the safety and wellbeing of our families and communities, but also look ahead as we carve out a new path.

    I worked at Blackbaud full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Work environment had a laid back feeling which was nice to come in and not feel stressed and buckle down to get your day started on the right foot. People were always friendly and there are plenty of company events to help get to know your coworkers better.

    Cons

    There were a bunch of social platforms they used for communication within teams and mass emails so it got a little overwhelming trying to keep up with the 3 or so different platforms to pay attention to.
