I worked at Blatt Hasenmiller Leibsker & Moore (Less than a year)
Allows instant courtroom experience. No long training period, just dive in and handle hundreds of cases instantly. Decent entry level opportunity.
Their computer system is dated and klunky. The partners tend to be stressed, and this stress flows to the associates and support staff. The caseload is very high per attorney. Don't expect a honeymoon period. Not a place to work long-term. Atty Ken Wake pushes his Conservative Republican views on others and is in over his head.
Advice to Management
Modernize and streamline the data systems. Give new attorneys several weeks to get comfortable and learn the ropes instead of dumping hundreds of cases on them literally in the first week.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Blatt Hasenmiller Leibsker & Moore (Chicago, IL) in February 2016.
I applied online and had first phone interview with HR (Kimberly Marhoul). She asked me general questions 'tell me about yourself', 'what programming languages do you know?' . She scheduled me for a onsite in the first round. Before going on site, I wanted to get a few questions answered, as it means taking a vacation day from current job , after 2 emails and several calls, she never got back to me. I find it very unprofessional.
