I have been working at Blip full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They are very flexible about your lifestyle. If you need two hours lunch time they will say nothing. For example, some people go surfing at lunch time.

They value high code standards and you'll be working with clever people.

    Cons

Sometimes you need to work with outdated technologies. It's normal in big companies. If you don't want to work with outdated technologies you have to work for a startup and change every 2 years.

Its hard to have a career upgrade since most of the people is good.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Blip (Porto, Oporto (Portugal)) in January 2012.

    Interview

The interview was a technical one, with lots of problem solving exercises. There was the need to speak in English for a good part of the interview. It took from 1 to 2 hours.
