Mission: We bring chocolate to life.
I have been working at Blommer Chocolate full-time (More than 5 years)
Good people and good benefit package, family owned, overtime availability, double time on Sundays, great at following all safety and OSHA guidelines.
No growth opportunities, management always hired via outsource and never promoted from within. Does not accept or acknowledge employee comments or feedback.
Advice to Management
Offer more employee focus as the employees are the heartbeat of the foundation. Offer more employee appreciation after Audit passings.
I applied online. I interviewed at Blommer Chocolate (New York, NY).
Very helpful recruiter. She asked several questions that made sense and related to the job. She seemed very friendly. The face to face was detailed and ssked questions that seemed to dig into behavior. Did a good job.
Earlier this fall, Congressman Ryan Costello came to the East Greenville facility for a plant tour. We appreciate him taking the time to visit and for his compliments on our facility and employees.—30+ days ago
Last week, Blommer joined a meeting with his Excellency, President Akufo-Addo of Ghana at an industry luncheon in New York. Kip Walk, our Senior Director of Sustainability, joined the event which was hosted by the World Cocoa Foundation.
Kip explains, “this was a tremendous opportunity to have a thoughtful and comprehensive dialog with the President on the future of cocoa both in Ghana and the world. Being a part of this forum underscores that Blommer is a recognized leader in the chocolate industry and in cocoa sustainability.”
