Company Updates

  • According to the Stack Overflow 2018 Developer Survey, nearly one in five developers say that they struggle with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, or both. Given the long hours, high-stress, and often isolated work environment that many software engineers work in every day - this statistic is hardly surprising. But despite the mental health struggles this environment can cause, many times it’s precisely this environment that prevents developers from coming forward to share their story. Micah Weaver, CTO of donor management SaaS company Bloomerang, wants to fix that. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQoLX

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Bloomerang (Indianapolis, IN) in March 2020.

    Interview

Very quick and prompt with replies in setting it up. They did the online assessment first, which helped to more quickly assess the proficiency for the job. Likewise, the feedback was very quick.

    Interview Questions

    • The questions for the quiz covered a variety of topics and each question quizzed more than one quality. One required you to try out email correspondence with a coworker while solving a handful of bugs in their code.   1 Answer
