I have been working at Blue Bird part-time (Less than a year)
Gave me the opportunity to have employment
I'm currently working there as a Non permanent employee without insurance or vacation time are anyother full time advantages....I will have to be there the minimum of two years before I can even apply for a full time position
Advice to Management
Review the applicants more closely to ensure that quality skill sets aren't allowed to to leave for other employment...Knowing your personnel...
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Blue Bird (Fort Valley, GA) in April 2017.
Overall, very sad. I was brought in for a physical. Since I saw a chiropractor in the past, they asked if I would get another physical over 30 minutes away. Found out it would be at my expense, over $400!!! I declined since the job was not guaranteed. Why should a prospective employee have to pay for the physical and at such an outrageous price? I've never dealt with a company that makes someone pay to work for them.
