    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Blue Stream Laboratories (Less than a year)

    Pros

Working environment is fast paced but fun. Co-workers are extremely collaborative, and egos are left at the door (from technical staff up to CEO). Company is small, with a family feel, which makes it easier to push through some of the everyday challenges that are inherent to a Contract Research Organization. The exposure to different types of projects and the ability to provide critical data to clients moving drugs through development and into the clinic is truly satisfying.

    Cons

The benefits package could be better, and senior management is working on providing more perks to retain their employees.

    Advice to Management

Keep listening to your employees and work on enhancing benefits to retain your talent.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Blue Stream Laboratories in August 2012.

    Interview

This process happened very fast..The lab director called me one evening and said he found my resume through a website and would like to interview me in person for an intern position. He told me to come the following day. I went there and he was really nice. He described the job position, showed me the lab and after our talk, he offered me the position right away.

    Interview Questions

    • None of the questions were very difficult but he told me describe the entire process of ELISA expt which I had performed earlier. He asked which antibodies I had used, which kit.   Answer Question
