Sponsorships

Blue Yonder is proud to extend our brand into the world of sport by showcasing the heart and soul of what we stand for – our Core Values of results, relentless, teamwork and empathy – all which ring true for Blue Yonder’s brand ambassador, Jon Rahm. He brings the same passion and commitment to his sport that we do to enterprise software.

Following a standout career at Arizona State University, Jon Rahm made his professional debut in June 2016 after finishing as the low amateur at the U.S. Open. In just over two years, Rahm has taken the golf world by storm. He has amassed six career wins, two top-five finishes in Major Championships, and been ranked as high as second in the Official World Golf Rankings. Rahm was also a member of the winning European team in the 2018 Ryder Cup. Prior to turning pro, Rahm was the top ranked amateur golfer for a record 60 weeks and was the first golfer to win the Ben Hogan Award (awarded to the nation’s best collegiate golfer) twice. Recently, his record in major championships is equally as impressive with four top ten finishes including a T3 finish at the 2019 US Open and a T9 finish at the 2019 Masters Tournament. Rahm is currently ranked first in the Official World Golf Rankings.

Giving Back

Blue Yonder’s mantra is to ‘Live Inspired,’ not only at work but in all that we do. We love to see this in action to support, enhance and serve local communities. All associates are encouraged to take one day of paid volunteer time off each year to serve at a local charity of their choice.

Not only does Blue Yonder work around the world, but we consider ourselves members of the global community — and we believe in giving back. We’ve formed close partnerships with many charitable organizations including Feeding America, a hunger relief organization that is working to reduce the 72 billion pounds of pre-consumer food wasted in the U.S. each year. Blue Yonder CEO Girish Rishi is an active member of the Food Security Council (FSC), which provides guidance to Feeding America on these targeted, high-level challenges, with a focus on leveraging leading-edge capabilities and systems change to transform hunger alleviation in the United States. Pros

We strive to live our core values in our day-to-day interactions and drive a culture focused on Talent. We also subscribe to a growth mindset, so continuous learning is a must. We are in the midst of going through a significant transformation and as a result this brings a lot of opportunity. If you want to be an expert in Supply Chain or join an organization where you can makes a difference, even while you grow and learn, Blue Yonder has much to offer. Help our customer's realize the value from their BY investment to growing your own career. Apply your knowledge on our many solutions and technologies. Help us innovate the next external product offering or internal process improvement by pitching your idea at Crystal Ball. Or get involved in one of our Team of Team projects. Again, there is no shortage of opportunity if you want it.

    Cons

As with any transformation, we have multiple priorities we are attempting to achieve. We area fast paced and constantly striving to learn and improve and as a result this comes with it's challenges on the work/life balance front.

    Advice to Management

Continue to provide the Recharge Days, these have had a tremendous positive impact on our entire organization. Let's start having BY Investment Days, where we dedicate the day to investing in learning. Senior management, focus on what is most important and let's drive those to closure. Let's be realistic about the timelines we place on each other. Too many priorities means something always drops or gets delayed.
