Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bluebeam (London, England) in Jan 2022
InterviewInitial call with recruiter, about 40 minutes during which we talked about my experience and I was given some information on the and background on the company. This was followed by and additional 1 hour interview with senior managers from the recruitment team. Both these interviews were similar, a mixture of competency based questions and general information about the role and challenges. The process was quick and I received an offer within a few days of my final interview. Everyone I spoke with was super friendly and professional and the process very smooth. I was given feedback along the way and given plenty of opportunity to ask questions etc. Smooth and professional process.
