I have been working at Bluegrass Cellular full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Amazing benefits. Commission structure allows you to have some control of your pay if you work hard to meet goals. Decent chance to move up in the company if you work hard but good relationships are a must. Best cell service available in the area and monthly analysis of competitors pricing to offer at least slightly better pricing. Really encourages employees to be a part of the community and give back to the customers.

    Cons

They do not offer competitive pay. Similar companies pay significantly more. Sick time can not be used for your children.

    Advice to Management

Pay the employees more accordingly to keep the seasoned associates that have built relationships with your customers and helped grow the business. Show more appreciation to your employees and remember that just because someone doesn't meet their numbers one in a while doesn't make them a bad employee.

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bluegrass Cellular (Elizabethtown, KY) in January 2016.

    Interview

The interview was pretty laid back. They asked standard interview questions and gave a detail description of pay, insurance, vacation time, etc. It was more of a conversation; they made me feel as though we had been friends for a long time. The supervisors did compliment my attire and said many people do not dress in business attire.
