Bluehost – Why Work For Us?

“Bluehost is one of the few jobs I’ve had where I actually feel taken care of. And the free food? Out the wazoo.” Michelle (current employee)

We believe in giving anyone the ability to harness the power of the web. That ideal starts right here. Why should you want to help us deliver on that promise? We'll give you three reasons.

We Work Hard

Our team is committed to delivering the best possible experience to customers. Quality service is in our DNA. We were the first in our industry to offer 24/7 customer support and to this day our service is one of the biggest reasons people choose Bluehost.

Dedication toward a common goal helps create legitimate bonds of trust and collaboration. We work together to create a culture of teamwork and support. No egos allowed.

We Play Hard

A healthy culture is important. Companies often throw that kind of phrase around a lot, but if you’ve ever been in an organization without one you know exactly how much it really matters.

We make it a point to hire people with passion, personality, and spark. While we certainly operate as professionals, we believe we should all feel comfortable in our own skin. This means at Bluehost you should feel free to have fun and express yourself. Deck out your desk, pull a few pranks, dress up as Snape for Harry Potter's birthday, you name it.

We Care

At Bluehost, we take care of business, but we also take care of our people. We offer amazing benefits, competitive pay, and, a team favorite, plenty of free food.

I worked at Bluehost full-time (More than a year)

Coworkers were great and its a job that has you learn new things on daily basis so it make challenging but fun.

Management kept making changes to our duties and responsibilities. To the point we not only needed to help our dedicated and vps environment but even went on to take terms of service and shared calls at the end of my time there.

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to have everyone do the job of 4-5 people and instead just grow the departments and have specialized support for different issues. Having jack of all trades make it so your support is master of none.

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Bluehost (Orem, UT) in September 2016.

Had two phone interviews and one in-person interview. After a tour of the Bluehost operation with the interviewer, it was blatantly obvious that Bluehost doesn't hire older workers with experience, like many other business that don't in "Happy Valley".

    Interview Questions

    • While the job was for technical support, the questions were more oriented towards selling webhosting addons. One question was pick a subject and convince the interviewer to buy it. Got the impression the job was more about selling than support.   Answer Question
