The money is great if you're a server! Also, the people you work with are often what makes it easier to get through a shift. The managers are younger and understanding when something is going poorly in your life. Business is steady for most of the year and is a tourist hotspot during the summer months!
Upper management is a little out of touch as far as their employees go. As a result, employee retention is not so great, and they are forced to constantly look for new employees.
Advice to Management
Treat your good employees better! Also, implement a better training program with your hosts and other employees so that they do not become incompetent when they're servers. In other words, set a better example and good things will happen.
