Mission: Provide world-class IT services to our customers.
I have been working at Bmore Technology full-time (More than 3 years)
-Parking right in front of building
-Great benefit package
-Small office environment, no layers of bureaucracy
-Training encouraged, and reimbursement for training
-Birthdays celebrated, annual party, team building social activities
-Great team atmosphere
-Immediate performance feedback
-Nature of business has you supporting a very broad range of software, time consuming to learn and document them.
-Taking on new customers results in growing pains, supporting unknown software
-Must be on-call for a week at a time every 4th week or so.
Advice to Management
-Need more manpower before a growth spurt, to have enough time to train up new employees
-More manpower would alleviate strain on others if someone is sick or on vacation.
-More cross training would be helpful to relieve strain on key employees. You don't need a degree in Information Technology to learn an interface.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bmore Technology (Baltimore, MD) in August 2017.
Interview process was great. Employer was very thorough and answered all questions I had through the process. Started with a phone interview, then did a video chat with owner in South Carolina, then did a meeting with the team before I was offered the position.
In January 2018 BTG was very excited to receive a customer service award from the Chesapeake Gateway Chamber of Commerce along with a Governor's Citation!
