Reaching out and making things happen… with your help!

Bob’s Outreach Program is focused on making powerful connections that positively impact the communities where we live and work.

The company and our employees support hundreds of nonprofit organizations with sponsorships and charitable contributions, each and every year. Through the Outreach Program and Bob’s Discount Furniture Charitable Foundation, Bob's donates more than $100,000 to schools and close to $3 million dollars to charities.

Our Outreach Mission

The mission of Bob’s Outreach Program is to help children and families thrive!

We accomplish this by assisting children and families in need with their shelter, education and health care requirements, while also supporting those who support others, including military and first responders.

Bob’s believes these are the building blocks of a safe and secure community.

 

How we do it

Café Collections for a Cause

 

Our Redlands, CA store welcomes a Special Olympian. We are proud to support Special Olympics, and other worthy causes, through our Café Collections for a Cause program.

In every Bob’s store across the country, we proudly collect thousands of dollars from our loyal and generous customers who choose to give back to their community, while enjoying free goodies in our Café. On average, customer contributions are close to $40,000 per quarter. Bob’s then matches 100% of your Café Collection donations and gives that directly to the non-profit. So...the more you give, the more we give!

We are proud to support the following organizations as part of our Café Collections for a Cause program: Special Olympics, Autism Speaks, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, and Pajama Program.

 

Random Acts of Kindness

A principal and a Pre-K teacher accept Random Act of Kindness checks for their schools
at the grand opening of our Bridgewater, NJ location.

Who doesn't love a surprise? That's why that for each new store we open, we fulfill a Random Act of Kindness for two schools in that market. A Random Act of Kindness gives additional aid to schools and programs for children.

 

Furniture Donations

Bob’s partnered with the Pittsburgh Steelers to make a furniture donation to a family in need.

The Autism Speaks Walks are our signature walk event.

Bob’s associates are proud to support Autism Speaks, whose mission is dedicated to the needs of individuals with autism and their families. Each year, many of our stores from coast-to-coast form Walk teams and join together with others in their area to support the needs of the autism community.
