I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Boecore (Colorado Springs, CO) in Aug 2021
Interview
The interview process was fine -- a phone screening followed by 2 additional in person interviews (one formal and the other more informal). The job seemed like a good fit and the interviews went well. The whole process seemed to be moving forward and after a week and a half, I was offered the job. The recruiter told me to take the weekend to think about it and let him know if I had any questions. I emailed back expressing my interest and asking a few question about the company benefits and proposing a modest salary negotiation. From there the process took a turn, the company essentially ghosted me for 3 weeks -- only providing updates when I would call asking about status and always providing vague deflections on why a decision was not made. After 3 weeks, I got an email from the recruiter explaining the company was going another direction with the position -- essentially rescinding the offer without much explanation.Typical questions -- tell us about your background, what is your leadership style, how do you handle conflict, what is your experience with proposals, what type of project management have you done?
