I worked at Bon Secours Health full-time
Wonderful staff, believe in the mission to provide good help to those in need, lovely improvements in most facilities and offices. The growth of the company is exciting and the caliber of physicians has greatly improved.
Budgeting process needs improvement; if departments come in a hefty amount under budget, everyone is happy. if departments come in marginally over budget, it sends everyone in a tailspin.
Advice to Management
Being off budget, whether over or under, is still not meeting budget. Unless something monumental has happened, coming in under budget should be as concerning as coming in over budget. This is a constant barrier year after year and it is time for the process to be re-vamped if real change is to happen. Senior leadership does not realize the negative impact budget constraints have on the staff...not just in performing their jobs, but also in the way they feel about the hard work they put in, only to be told year after year the company didn't make budget. The rare year that budget is made, there really is no difference that front line staff sees. It is demoralizing at best.
Happy to note there are quality healthcare providers coming into the system. Local executive leaders need to remember without quality providers, you can't have a quality health system.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bon Secours Health.
Phone call to set up in person interview, in person interview, then a call to see if you got it or not. Then an offer letter would be sent to you if so.
