    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bonefish Grill in July 2010.

    Interview

You apply online and after you pass the initial personality test you will be contacted to come to the store location and have an in person interview. It is relatively low key and most people pass. Then you have 5 days of training on the floor following a certified server trainer. You have a few days of following and then the last two days you visit tables, greet them and take all orders while the certified trainer follows you. This all helps you become accustomed to the flow of the restaurant.

    Interview Questions

    • Memorizing the menu can be difficult for some people and you do have tests on the food at the end.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

There is no negotiation - you just let them know your availability and then you will be added to the next posted schedule
