Boom Lab, a division of ThreeBridge Solutions, was founded on the idea that great consultants don’t need multiple degrees and three-piece suits. Consulting is a mindset that favors questions over answers and always puts the client first.

We’re building a new generation of consultants by hiring talented Project Managers, Business Analysts, Financial Analysts and Technology Analysts to join our growing teams across the Midwest.

Our training includes two weeks of intense project delivery methods, and builds based on role and experience as consultants grow their careers with Boom Lab.

Our Boom Lab consultants excel in team environments, possess very strong communication skills, learn quickly, and help build creative solutions for our clients. Our team brings energy and excitement to the workplace, and grows together through training, mentorship, and giving back.

Boom Lab Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, Financial Analyst, Tech Analyst and Developer consultants are assigned to projects based on their background, education and skill set. They spend their time onsite at the client, working in teams to solve problems and enable their client to achieve business goals through project delivery. Projects and solutions include global systems integration, software implementations, communication & change management, and process re-engineering. From gaining alignment on project direction to testing new systems and managing global releases, our consultants gain unique experiences at top corporations while receiving support and career guidance from a local company.

    Positive Outlook

    I have been working at Boom Lab full-time (Less than a year)


    - The culture. I have made some of the best connections/colleagues/friends through my position at Boom Lab. Beginning with the training program in the most recent "start class," I have been able to cultivate connections and foster relationships that I otherwise wouldn't have been able to without Boom Lab.
    - The client atmosphere. I love my assignment--the back office team did an incredible job matching my skillset with client needs.
    - The training. I was ready to hit the ground running at the client site after 2 weeks of intense training post-graduation.
    - The support system. I know that if I have any issues with the client/my assignment, I can reach out to my consultant manager and she will be able to support me in whatever ways needed to achieve a positive end result.


    - The starting salary is a bit below industry average (although the raise structure is quite generious compared to industry average).

    Advice to Management

    Work on recruiting talent by increasing the starting salary.

    I applied online. I interviewed at Boom Lab (Minneapolis, MN) in September 2017.


    Received an email to set up a 30 minute in-person initial interview. This was conversational and involved questions about my background, why I was interested in Boom Lab/consulting. etc. Moved to a second in-person interview a few days later with a Sr. Recruiter which was very similar...once they give you a verbal offer then you interview with a client to get placed. That was set up within a day and had the official offer from the client shortly after. The whole process took about a week, which is likely not typical, as they had urgent needs at the time.
