    Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Borough of Manhattan Community College (New York, NY) in January 2016.

    Interview

A quick review of my resume and friendly chat about my experience. Hiring seemed to be based on personality and ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Expectations for class and administrative duties were clearly laid out. Non-negotiable salary and benefit information was stated by interviewer. Hired on the spot and proceeded to fill out lengthy hiring packet (took several hours).
