Why Boston Market is the Best Underrated Fast Food Place

Everybody has an opinion when it comes to fast food. Either you love it or you hate it. For years, I have vehemently avoided fast food by any means possible. Others make a definitive list of the best and worst and where they draw their "fast food line."

Tax Day freebies and deals for 2017

Restaurants and retailers here in the Capital Region and beyond will once again offer Tax Day freebies and deals to help you celebrate your good fortune, or in some cases, soften Uncle Sam's annual sting. Keep in mind that Tax Day is actually Tuesday, April 18 this year.

Boston Market – Why Work For Us?

To create awesome rotisserie meals, served quickly, by warm and friendly people.

In 1985, Arthur Cores and Steve Kolow took three simple ingredients—fire, a spit, and chicken—and revolutionized the restaurant industry forever. They opened the very first Boston Market, then called Boston Chicken, in Newton, Massachusetts, with a rotisserie and a dream.

Today, there are more than 450 Boston Market locations nationwide, focused on making delicious home-cooked meals for people who don’t have the time to cook at home. Specializing in juicy Rotisserie Chicken and home style favorites, our classic food is a modern hit.

In a world filled with fast food factories focused on making food faster, more portable, and more profitable, Boston Market remains devoted to just one thing: making food good.

Nothing complements a good meal like great service. Our team members run each restaurant like their own dining room, and anyone who comes to enjoy our food is a welcomed guest.

We may have more than 450 restaurants and 10,000 employees, but it’s a small world at Boston Market.

Don’t be surprised if you’re greeted by name at your neighborhood Boston Market. Or the door is opened for you. Or your food is served on a real plate with a real smile.

We hope every visit, every conversation, and every bite is All Good.

Cooking up quality food you can be proud of and schedules you'll crave.

We’re proud of the great things we’re cooking UP at Boston Market, not only in our wholesome food, but also in our determination for our employees’ personal and professional success. We believe in rewarding employees - who have a drive to succeed, an authentic desire to serve guests, a focus on high quality and a passion for their work.

Boston Market is proud to support Give Kids The World, an organization that fulfills the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses. That’s why we created Katie’s Kitchen, a Boston Market restaurant inside the Give Kids The World Village®, where we provide delicious and nutritious meals-cost free, to the families staying at The Village.

As a proud sponsor of Give Kids The World Village®, Boston Market helps raise money for Give Kids The World every summer and holiday season through coupon book sales. Books cost $1 each and 85% of the purchase price goes straight to the Give Kids The World Village®. Thanks to the generosity of our guests, we’ve been able to donate over $4.3 million to this worthwhile organization. Every year we make a minimum donation of $500,000.

Our employees also volunteer at The Village to help make sure every family that stays at Give Kids The World has an experience that is both wonderful and memorable. Boston Market is proud to do our part to help the families of Give Kids The World.

The Give Kids The World Village®, in Kissimmee, Florida, provides a worry-free sanctuary for hundreds of families each year. For the last 29 years, over 138,000 families from all 50 states and 75 countries have visited the Give Kids The World Village®, where they were treated to a week-long, cost-free, fantasy vacation-including accommodations at this whimsical resort, donated tickets to local Orlando attractions, meals, and more.

I have been working at Boston Market full-time

Boston Market has a ton of passionate employees that care deeply about the success of their employees and their restaurants. There are a lot of examples of employees that started as team members with the company and grew into management level positions. They also have great food that the team can feel proud to serve.

    Nothing that is really apparent.

I applied online. I interviewed at Boston Market (Plano, TX) in April 2017.

I filled out an online application and got a call a few days later. Went over to the restaurant to interview, manager was nice and knew how to properly interview somebody + didn't dismiss me for having no prior job experience. Interview was pretty pleasant but couldn't take the job because I live too far.
